Welcome, everyone, to our new blog!
I'm Molly!
And I'm Frannie!
We've never had a blog before, but our human sister, Lili, has one. Plus, one of our two dog brothers, Bigby, started a blog with the help of Lili. Lili decided to get us a blog, too, because she says that we're super awesome kitties. Obviously.
Molly, everyone already knows that! All cats are good--especially us. Let's have a little get-to-know-us. I'll start. My name is Frannie and I'm ten years old in cat years. My really cool family has had me since I was a kitten. They rescued me from a shelter when I was a wee girl. My leg really hurt but no one at the shelter knew, but when I was adopted my new family took me to the vet. They took an X-ray and found out my leg was broken! No wonder it hurt... So I got a really uncomfortable cast but then I leg felt all better! I got the cast removed and begin my new life. I used to be kind of bored and unfriendly until my sister Molly came along. We adopted Molly last year on May 25th. She's so awesome! She's really cute (don't tell I said that). She's really young--only 2 years old (in human years). I'm very big sister-ish towards her. I stick up for her (she sticks up for me, too!), and we love to play with each other. Well anyway, you'll hear lots more about us in upcoming posts! Bye!
Hi! It's Molly here! I hope Frannie said good things about us! Did she? I'm keeping my paws crossed for that and I hope you are too! I used to live out on the streets. I was miserable. I was hungry, scared, cold and lonely. Living on the streets was rough and here's the worst part--I was only a kitten back then! So, soon I got picked up and transferred into a almost-as-scary animal shelter. It was loud, just like the streets, and I was scared there, too. Some cats didn't make it out of the shelter because the shelter was very crowded. But luckily, a kind rescue group picked me out from the shelter to save me (I'm forever grateful!) The rescue group was made up of Foster Homes that took care of cats and dogs. I was then sent to a really cool pet store that takes care of adoptable animals. It was so much fun there. I made friends with puppies, parrots and all kinds of animals. I was about one and a half years old when I was there. I stole food all the time and I was NEVER hungry again! It was perfect. But for some reason, I think I was eating too much or something, I was taken out of the pet store by the rescue group. I went to live a real foster home where I nice lady took care of me. I made friends with her other cats, and, within a few months, someone came to her house. They wanted to adopt me! They did and I'll be forever glad that they did. So there my true story began. I love this place. I get to spend my days playing with my sister Frannie and investigating food with my dog brothers. It's the best home I could have wished for. Those terrible days in the shelter and on the streets were worth it, just so I could get to my forever home--here.
Thanks so much for reading our blog! Molly and I appreciate it so much. Please remember to follow us by email! Thanks again!
